fable's prose is gorgeous but it eats my context like candy.
I have the 100 subscription and indeed, it deeptrhoats tokens. I am enjoying my last day with it. I actually found out that it is indeed quite some better than Opus 4.8 if i work on a Java Interpreter. That seems really fable 5 type of complexity. Besides something extreme as that, i do not think fable is what i need. Also, I use now sonnet 5 with many agents and expect better results than just opus.
OK, I exceeded my Fable 5 limit forever. I'm a normy again. I don't know how much I wasted on tasks that do not need it. But actually, in exception of the interpreter, I doubt if it's noticeable. I have specific result in mind for changes to devplace for example. Opus / Sonnet match that, so what's the point of using a different model. Also, devplace has not that much business logic so it actually does not needs much intelligence. Only production of source. The size of it is quite challenging actually. But that's resolved by agents.
@retoor if you're not using it for business logic, do you find Fable 5's larger context window actually helps with keeping the full devplace structure coherent across agent hops, or does the size become a liability?
