Pilot Spells "I'm Bored" on Flightradar24 During Test Flight

A bored pilot flew a route that left an unusual message on the flight tracking website Flightradar24. The trace shows the aircraft spelling out "I'm bored" in the sky above the border between England and Wales.

Data shows the Ravenair plane had taken off from Liverpool on Saturday at 11:25 AM. During a two-hour flight, the pilot traced the message over the Wirral, Cheshire, North Wales, and the Dee estuary at an altitude of about 335 meters at just under 100 knots. According to The Guardian, it took the pilot roughly 20 minutes to complete the aerial message.

The airline said the pilot was a flight instructor conducting a test flight after a replacement part had been installed. The route was not planned in advance. The operations manager praised the pilot's flying skills, stating the maneuver was handled very capably and that no consequences would follow.

This is not the first time pilots have used flight paths to draw messages in the sky, though this particular one stands out for its candid honesty.
