It looks like their backend software is hacked. No server access itself seems. How hard can it be.
Ah, right. Backend services got hacked. Fixed the title. Well either way, if the thing relies on online stuff... better secure it, properly is the lesson.
We have here a plain simple role system and no bells and wistles. Small attack surface, easy to maintain. We do not do complex security :)
