Cat Oscar Doesn't Wait for Firefighters and Leaps from Ten Meters High

Firefighters were called to the Engelenbergplantsoen in Kampen on Monday morning after a tomcat named Oscar got stuck on the facade of a building. He seemed unable to get down on his own.

When the fire crew prepared to rescue him using an aerial ladder platform, Oscar changed his mind at the last moment. Instead of jumping into the basket at the top of the ladder, he hurled himself into the void from a height of about ten meters.

Once again the old saying proved true: Oscar appears to have nine lives. He landed perfectly on his paws. Once on the ground, he was immediately reunited with his owner. Oscar is doing well.
