I finally got myself a battery backup after almost 30 years of using computers. Hopefully it will help keep my lights from flickering when I kick off a render.

The answer was nope. Without thinking, the one I got is woefully inadequate for the task, so it beeps every time I do something. Meaning, my family room computer finally gets a battery backup and my work computer gets a high power battery in about a week.
