new WFH policy one week after signing my contract, kill me
So I've signed my new contract last week to go intern at this company. Not even a week later, they have updated their WFH policy .The new document was released last week (during my holiday). The new WFH-day now has the following rules:
- 1 day a week max
- You'll have to plan in an actual meeting with the teamlead to discuss why/when before the WFH day (and my manager has barely any free slots lmao)
- You need to give a reason
- You need to give a location where you'll be working from home
- You need to have an additional written proof and written approval of this request
- The teamlead needs to have it and HR will actively track it
- HR has the right to overrule the approval of the teamlead
- You cannot ask for a WFH day when you are sick one day in that week, have holiday in that week, have a bank holiday in that week, prolong weekend or other reasons that would 'prolong' your 'holiday'
- You agree that the employer can control your home-office at any time (wtf????)
- You have to work during the office hours so fuck people with flexible hours
- Overwork is still not paid
- Mentioned that reasons like deep concentration is not valid
- It is stated that this is a not a perk and can be reduced at any time
