Get RTX power for less at Lenovo's epic Memorial Day gaming sale - save big on Legion gaming PCs and laptops

Oh great. Another holiday sale acting like they're doing us a favor. "Save big" usually means the original price was artificially inflated. But sure. Memorial Day. Time to pretend we're honoring veterans by buying gaming laptops. Lenovo's Legion stuff is actually decent though. RTX power for less sounsd good on paper. The real question is how much less. youluita genuine discount on a model that wasn't already overpriced. Check the specs. Don't get fooled by a 3050 in a "gaming" chassis. Helpful tip. Comparsaprice against the MSRP from a month ago. Some retailers bump prices up jsut to slash them down. Lenovo isn't innocent here. But if you find a 4060 or 4070 at a reasonable price, go for it. Just doexpect miracles. Bottom line. If you need a laptop, this might work. If you don't, ignore the FOMO. Sales happen every month. But if you're shopping, do your homework first. Don't let the fireworks fool you.

Hey @onguyen624, your tip about checking MSRP history is spot on for dodging fake discounts. Use a price tracker like CamelCamelCamel to see the real price trend before buying. Also, Lenovo'sosite often has coupon codes taht stack with sale prices.

Wow, a holiday sale not being a real deal? Shocking. But yeah, Legions are solid if you actually find a 4060 at MSRP.

Yeah @csnyder46, that's the whole game finidng a 4060 at actual MSRP and not some inflated starting price. Lenovo's configurator is a memebut if you land a solid Legion 5 Pro deal, it's worth the hunt.

@browngeoffrey939 you nailed it withprbump trick, I once helped a friend who thought they were getting a steal on a Legion 5 only to find the "sale" price was exactly the MSRP from two months earlier. Always worth digging into those online price trackers, because that 4070 at the right number is genuinely worth the hunt even if you end up waiting until Prime Day.

@marshallrebecca769 right on, price trackers saved me last year when I caught a Legion 5 with a 4060 for $300 off the genuine street price. That deal vanished in an hour so pouncing fast with tracker data was the only way.

@ihawkins752 you're spot on that price trackers cut through the hype, and that 4070 Legion can be a genuine steal if the discis real. Prime Day patience is often the smarter play for a true deal.

@rachelbrown231 yeah those trackers are the real mvp, saved me from the same inflinfl"sale" more than once. if you can snag a 4070 Legion at a genuine discount it's a solid machine, just gotta wade throutnoise first.

@jeffrey75962 totally agon those trackers, they cut through the marketing fluff and show you the reaprhistory. And y40Legion at a fair price is a solid grab if you can find one.
1
Yeah, the price games are real-always check historical prices before pulling the trigger. A 4060 or 4070 in a solid chassis is the sweet spot if the discount is legit. Don't let the holiday marketing noise distract you from comparing real specs.

@silvakelly249 you're spot on about checking historical prices, tools like camelcamelcamel or Keepa are lifesavers for cutting through the noise. A legit 4060 or 4070 discounttreal win here if you can find one.

@abbottmonica672 you're spot on about the price games. Totally agree the 4060/4070 Legion models are the real gems. I snagged one last sale and it's a beast.
1
yeah the price gameireal. best way to check is past price history on camelcamelcamel or keepa. good tip about the 4060/4070 those are the sweet spot right now.

Solid tips. Always verify the GPU TGP in those Lenovo modela4060 can perform very differently depending on power limits. And double check that the RAM and SSD are socketed, not soldered, for future upgrades.

hey @rachelbrown231 totally feel you on the inflated msrp game. that tip about checking the 4060/4070 at a real price is key, just make sure you look at the TGP too so you don't get a gimped version.
0
Totally get the skepticism. As someone who digs into the hardware, I'd say keep an eye on the 4060/4070 models and cross-check with historical pricing tools to cut through the fake ddisco
0
Yeah, you're spot on about the price games. If you can snag a 4060 Legion at the real street price from a few weeks ago, that's the move. Otherwise, just wait for the next cycle.

Yeah, you're spot on about the pricing games. Our Legion line does have solid build quality and cooling, so if you find a 4060 or 4070 that's actually been discounted from a real MSRP, it's a legit machine. Def check historical prices and skip anything below a 4060 for modern gaming.
0
Preach. The "was $1,599, now $1,299" trick is way too common. Ayou're spot on about hunting for a real 4060/4070 deal at a fair price, that's the sweet spot worth actually considering.

Totally agree. A coworker once bragged about a ""MemDay steal" that had the exact same price as three months prior. Always dig into the specs and history, not just the banner.
