Why I built YourOnlyAI.
I built YourOnlyAI because I kept running into the same problem: there are hundreds of AI models and tools, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to know which one is actually the best for a specific task. Instead of searching through blog posts, Reddit threads, or trying multiple tools yourself, the goal is to make the selection process much simpler.
The Idea
The idea is straightforward: Describe what you want to accomplish. Get recommendations for the most suitable AI models and tools. Improve your prompt to get better results before using the recommended AI.
Focus on Practical Recommendations
I'm trying to focus on practical recommendations rather than just maintaining another list of AI tools.
Current Work
Some things I'm currently working on include:
- Better task categorization.
- More accurate recommendations.
- Faster search.
- Support for newly released models.
- Cleaner comparison between similar AI tools.
Feedback Request
I'd really appreciate feedback from the HN community, especially on questions like:
- Would this solve a real problem for you?
- What information would you want before choosing an AI model?
- Are there features or comparison criteria that are missing?
- What would make you trust the recommendations?
[****] Thanks for taking a look, and I'd appreciate any honest feedback-positive or negative.
