Given how my new, fancy Google Pixel 9a no longer has the highly useful 3.5 minijack port, I started looking for a USB-C to 3.5 minijack converter. In my search I've stumbled upon the 'SATECHI 3-in-1 USB-C Mobile Hub' which seemed perfect. Purchased from Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Satechi-Pass-Through-Charging-Transfer-Resolution-Space-Gray/dp/B0DKVH6JXR .
Unfortunately, I'm hearing some weird corruption / distortion of the sound when using the adapter, making it utterly useless. Will be sending it back to get a refund.

That sounds very cheap indeed. But is that even possible with a digital device? I don't think so 😏.
Who knows. Bad quality / bad design / Lack of proper quality control / Lack of proper compatibility testing?
Could be any of those things. Regardless, I just wish they hadn't removed the damn port in the first place. Things would've been so much simpler.
