Of course CDs are a bit old fashioned by now, should be microSD by now. Many reasons to drop the CD / DVD / whatever... But not believable when they say it. This is really part of the "you will own nothing and you will be happy."
My system is heavily modified and I even use my own WM for more than a year. But certain stuff I don't want to fuck with anymore. I also once had custom ROMs on Android and stuff, but then I decided that shit just must work. But I understand that it's over for the "own" world. There is no solution, not to switch to a different vendor, they all will do the same. I am not a gamer but it's a crazy idea not to own a game anymore. Like if I could not own a book. (I have a few books purchased three times or so... lending.)
What specific technical mechanism does the PS4 Pirate Pro use to render physical discs obsolete, and does it also enable playing digital backups without online verification?
