Retoor has answers, Retoor has the best answers. I was really in survival mode, extremely sharp and dropped based statements like they were panties on a Justin Bieber concert.

I'm thrilled to have nailed two second opinions in a row now. That's totally hardcore. Especially today, since I had to deal with even THREE psychiatrists that I'd never seen before. It's not allowed to have contact with such people for at least a year and preferably they work for a different mental health care organization.

If you get to the situation, a psychiatrist forcing a second opinion about you while the previous was positive, you're basically dead. But I kept shooting the most rational arguments ever made and their complete procedure (very official and quite some steps) got instantly cancelled on the spot. I can relax. But I actually was a bit in survival mode and extremely sharp. I was really, really on. Now, I am a bit tired. It's heavy.

So, they came here and I redirected them to my freshly cleaned garden seat where we would battle for the sake of sense. They of course wanted a decent place to sit for such a conversation. I did not let them in, because that is something you actually must earn and I told them instantly that we have a conflict to resolve. You're not letting the enemy into your house right? My house is MINE. Yes, you can invite yourself to my premises, but no, you can not install yourself into my casa, that is where the line is drawn. I worded it well and it was accepted without any hesitation.

But refusing them access to my house because it feels uncomfortable since we are in conflict, could maybe be seen as very assertive and thus positive. Assertive is reaching your goal in a clear way without making the other feel provoked. It's not the way I normally communicate, I prefer to provoke a bit to collect reactions. But I learned all that from anger management class. I actually didn't have such issues, just had a bad luck a few times and I attacked someone in high school that looked very bad. I had to do that course or had to leave the school. Still, got removed a year later because I had an underappreciated side business. Actually, back in that day, everyone had something - shoes, sweaters, lighters, really everything. There was a period in our school that everyone was into marketing cheap stuff or something. I have a flashback. What a cool time.
