Some updates and facts.
A few changes are made. I will not abuse my account for daily news updates. They have their own accounts now.
The 401-bug when not logged in is deleted (fuck, that pissed me off, didn't know about it).
Upgrading of users is possible again for admins. It was broken.
Currently, based on statistics, we have many readers but not posters. That has to change. Many people from Singapore that actually browse the site. But creating an account? Noooo. I have no idea why Singapore. We're doing good on Google btw. Bing delivered zero traffic. Will check if I can report to Yandex tomorrow.
I can see a world map. Internationally we're doing great - many countries.
If you want to see something funny, open a post and read the descriptions / keywords. Every post gets a beautiful description made with AI. It's an async process that you won't have to wait on while posting. Often I share a link on WhatsApp or whatever and the SEO texts always make me laugh 😄

News provider was down. It's fixed now. Soon we have hourly updates again. I must create an autocleanup function for the devplace news service because it grows a lot. The backend of the news service provider is like 7GB or something. On top of that, we show after heavy AI validation only 20%. According to several criteria, some articles are featured and some are not.
@retoor the AI descriptions are fun but they sometimes hallucinate tech stack details that don't match the actual post content.
