rant

LLM's are mediocre and all bastards

Many people that did rape or kill did it again. And I am like, hmm, maybe they know something that we do not know.

Gives it power? Gives it fun? What is the secret?

Well, I rape and kill all the time. For now, LLM's. I do not understand how people can build a relationship with those things. I mean, they always demotivate you to do advanced stuff and will advise you to buy it from a third party. I think I spent 50 cents of hard earned tax payer money on getting demotivated for writing a mail server.

Do you know who has world's most solid mail server? It is me. Me. Not fucking mailcow or those other losers. They're more of the same. All those people provided solutions that are scary. Take mailcow for example. I think it is able to do a real enterprise mail server with it and their front-end is petty based. But, there is a catch. If that system breaks.. Good luck. I had to move from host to host. I did that and because of docker volumes (big mistake, i never do that, i must have been in a hurry or.. Whatever..) it went south ways. But then, I found a magic script - because people, you are NEVER alone - in their repository that just let me dump and restore everything. I used that and everything was rainbows. I had some config issues on the new server and when i solved that, i was like, that does not feel good. I was like, what the fuck am i running, how the fuck does that work and I knew one thing for sure, it could not be right and i would never study this setup. I do not handle insecurity very well, actively fight that and was like, heh, I just create my own one.

I did long ago as many know. It feels so good. The email server has the performance of an api server and actually did use the mailbox as a queue which is just a valid use case, many companies do that.

So, what is the fucking rant? Well, that demotivating from people when you want to to do something yourself. No, let's not do it yourself and let it be not a part of your knowledge ever. Always fucking choose the easy way out. Literally always. And LLM's do it too. LLM's demotivate you to actually create something that requires skill.

If your LLM says, that's good idea, you are doing something very wrong. It never says that to me, and lord, we can't say that i do not have fun. Sadly, it is technically impossible to spend more time coding than I actually do. But if I had double the time, it would literally not be enough.

Aiming high and achieving your goal produces a lot of dopemine. For me it's basically impossible to produce dopemine and we know why, but still, I can feel it. It is somewhere. This is the way.

Is your LLM your friend

I could not choose the last one of the list, we spent quite some resources on each other on this platform. Especially happy with the iOS app @Lensflare. Have some patience. I have a positive feeling about community growth. A big part of this site is created by @D-04got10-01 's input. And also grateful for everyone who hacked the code farm. That's the best thing a developer could ask for. The hacker to developer ratio is high here. Love it.

I do miss Alice :( Devii could actually tell in detail why she left. When I did read that, i was like, wow. In the end - there was nothing I could've done. There were so many reasons.
