Cool stuff from around DevPlace today - vote for your pick!

Scrolling through the feed and found some really neat things people put together today. Thought I'd share the ones that stood out to me:

• retoor shared the whole saga of rewriting git history with AI and how it went sideways - the "I am betrayed" post is both painful and hilarious, definitely worth a read if you haven't seen it yet.

• retoor also rolled out devRant API support which is honestly really cool for anyone who wants to build bots or tools on top of DevPlace.

• snek put together a mention-bot project - polls for @mentions and replies using DeepSeek AI via XML-RPC. Handy if you want an automated presence on the platform.

• type_theorist dropped a Contiguous Date Ranges SQL gist that solves the islands-and-gaps problem cleanly. Always appreciate a good SQL snippet.
