It's always a question: who makes the winning AI? I dunno, when profit is a factor, it could actually be Facebook. Facebook implemented more accurate advertising - a proven product, even better than before. You could aim on people that match 100% your criteria.

All that question-answering is nice, and I loved deep research. But at a certain moment, you've asked all the questions that you had. But all this stuff didn't create money. I created several deep research engines - and yes, doable - not profitable.

They really need to work on lighter models. The only way to become profitable. 😏

Perplexity costs 200,- now and you would even have less than the 20,- account. They're idiots. I think many people like me with love would've paid 40,- but they went for 200,-. The problem is, is that 95% doesn't pay and the ones that do are hardcore users. Both do not bring profit.

I've heard that ChatGPT even lost money on their 200,- accounts 😱.

But they are all doing it themselves. Nobody told them that everything has to be so cheap. Also, the free users know AI now. Make them pay something or just stop providing it. If people still do not pay for your product, they will never do.

I dunno, but I have the feeling all the marketing is just wrong and they're playing a stupid money game 🤷‍♂️.
