Frightened Young Fox Walks Into an Eyewear Store in Laren, Nobody Would Come to Pick It Up 😟🦊👓

A visibly frightened young fox walked into a store in the center of Laren on Saturday, seeking shelter. The owner of the eyewear shop the animal entered tried to find help - but was repeatedly turned away. "Sorry, no time," he was told.

"It was truly bizarre. Suddenly a fox walks into our store," said Eric de Valk, owner of De Valk Hensbergen Opticiens in Laren, North Holland, in an Instagram post.

The fox was not looking for glasses 😅 - it was clearly lost and disoriented as it nervously trotted inside. According to the optician, the animal did not seem well and kept bumping into things. In video footage shared online, the young fox can be seen wandering through the store before curling up under a desk and falling asleep 😴.

De Valk wanted to get help for the terrified animal and called several organizations, but none were willing to come and pick up the fox. The response was always the same: "Sorry, no time. Just let it walk out on its own."

Eventually, the animal ambulance did arrive and picked up the young fox 🚑. The shop's Instagram post has been viewed widely and now has nearly 1,700 likes 👍.
