These Drinks Can Give You Erectile Dysfunction
What you drink directly affects your circulation down there. Too much caffeine, sugar, and salt from your daily coffee, energy drinks, or chocolate milk puts strain on your heart, blood vessels, and hormones.
Coffee: caffeine remains in your system for up to six hours. Drinking it too late disrupts deep sleep, and that is when your body produces testosterone. Just a little sleep deprivation causes a significant testosterone drop. Four or five cups a day, especially in the afternoon or evening, is asking for trouble. Max two cups, none after 2 PM.
Energy drinks: packed with sugar and up to 200 mg of caffeine. They give a short boost but spike blood pressure, heart rate, and the stress hormone cortisol. The result is reduced blood flow to erectile tissue.
Plant-based milk: oat, almond, and soy milk often contain sugars, sweeteners, or carrageenan (E407) as a thickener. While the EU and FDA deem it safe, some studies suggest carrageenan may trigger inflammation, irritate the gut, and impair insulin sensitivity, ultimately damaging metabolism and blood vessels.
