My hobby project is such an unfun experience lol
3 months ago, our junior backend guy left our hobby project and he took the backend with him and he was replaced with 2 seniors and a junior. After 3 months, we have a total of 200 lines of code custom written on a new project.
What a mess of a project lol

What did the hobby project do? Fun to have with coworkers. We had devnights at former deployer. I introduced it because everyone was working at
/homeon private projects and stuff, and I was like, "That's sad, everyone sitting alone" 😜. So we all worked almost once a week in the evening on the company on our own stuff, and the company even donated drinks and foods. It was Yourhosting. Amazing company. It makes a fucking URL to a non-existing domain, thanks I guess.. 😒
Would be a site for an MMORPG raiding community. At this rate, the new game will be launched before it is ever live. Still a lot of features to add after the main feature is live. Interesting project if we have a backend xd
We can do a lot if they find the motivation.
Just make it good looking and people want to work on it, I guess. Working on this project is super easy, btw. I included all Claude file and its custom agents for development of this site in the repository. Claude setup is so nice that I flex with it instead of hiding the usage, as many people do 😜
I think the frontend is already pretty good looking. I'll share a screenshot later when I boot up the website again. The project is still not yet known to the community.
Would be very cool.
We have a project showcase - but I do not expect many people watch there 😅
I have the idea to make this feed mixed - that it combines the posts, projects and gists in one list.
So everyone gets to see everything.
The original Devplace had it too.
As long as they are marked correctly, go for it.
It can always change if people complain ^^
