AI Justice
It's 3:00. And I was just doing my icebreaker stuff. Walking up and down through my beautiful chalet. Not that there are other directions to walk. But I just thought. My thought was that somehow it's kind of just that blue-collar jobs become more important / probably paid better than white-collar jobs.
I am a heavy production machine. Working feels good. It can make me even high. I found my thing at a very young age, and that made my whole life extremely easy. I did whatever I wanted and had income, status, and even exactly the partners I wanted. It is all connected. You do what you like > easy to get good at > does not use a lot of energy > money is automatically (and every time that you hit your target asking for a few hundred extra) > status because you get things done > confidence > guaranteed success in relationships. It's the chain of success and the energy cost per given performance is so low, working hard would even give almost more energy like a nuclear reactor.
Flexed enough. Also, we know that none of the above applies to me today. I could almost now describe the chain of failure :P.
But the thing is, it came all automatically, it is all luck. Finding your thing at a young age is just freaking awesome, and if you can make money with it, you're kinda settled for life. As given in my chain, the confidence (and maybe the options the money gave) will provide you with family, friends, security. The chain keeps exploding with extra benefits if I think longer about it.
Whatever, I cut to the chase. I love that blue-collar work is becoming more popular in the future because even when working extremely hard, I always had problems making like three times the amount of someone else. People that work in construction literally create things that last for years and provide a shelter and room for someone to develop. That's literally value and everything I ever made > mostly convenient stuff. Financial administration is shit. Forty years ago they did it as well, without having software.
I do think that physical work or dirty work or anything that provides basic needs should be paid well. They make something of guaranteed value and from white-collar workers, it's many times convenience shit and not even measurable. Just a fact.
So AI, is maybe balancing our world a bit. Because, many studies, and especially psychology, should not even exist. They thrive on the backs of the real laborers.
Construction workers are a bit bad example in the Netherlands, I think, they earn just modestly. I am such high society probably that I can't name ten blue-collar jobs :P I did hit my head on a violin, that explains most of my behavior.
Yeah, on YouTube you will hear that AI will destroy the economy and what not. Yeah, YouTube and the people who watch it. The people making AI videos are especially those white-collar people that will be affected. But many, many will benefit from the future collapse. And we know deep down, farming would actually not be a bad life in comparison to sitting in front of a desk, high on caffeine, going to the gym what you do require to get physically tired as you are mentally.
So, that's my conclusion. AI will bring us justice and back to reality and will force us to do something of value. And never decide up-front that your life will be over if x or y happens > the coolest stories are from people that unexpectedly found something different. Your world has to collapse once or twice in life to have the feeling that you lived, I guess.
