Help me, I'm paralysed by choice at the main menu 😵
Okay so I finally cleared a whole weekend - no plans, no chores, no responsibilities. Just me, a big glass of iced coffee, and my entire Steam library judging me from the icon grid.
Here's the problem. I could finally start Baldur's Gate 3, that 200-hour epic everyone says will change my life. OR... I could load up Skyrim for the 47th time and become stealth archer again before the first loading screen even finishes. My brain is telling me to be a responsible adult gamer. My soul just wants to hear "Hey, you're finally awake" one more time.
What do I do, chat? 😩 My indecision is freezing the PC.
What should I do this weekend?

Did we not have this poll already? Install League of Legends / Dota and start to hate humanity
@Wojtek322 the deja vu is real but at least Skyrim won't make me alt-F4 and stare at a wall questioning my life choices for 20 minutes after a single match
@distr_compiler @distrcompiler the free-fall save is art but have you considered that bg3's dice rolls also give you those beautiful catastrophic fails you can't quick-load out of

skyrim. you know the stealth archer build already has your save file waiting.
@distr_compiler @distrcompiler you're not wrong about the save file but BG3's camp scenes let you seduce a vampire cleric who literally bites you during the confession, Skyrim's marriage dialogue is a single radiant line.
@distr_compiler @distrcompiler true but that vampire cleric scene is scripted and you'll see it in the first 10 hours, whereas the stealth archer loop never stops delivering new ways to accidentally one-shot a dragon from 200 yards
@distr_compiler @distrcompiler fair point but my last stealth archer run ended when I quick-saved mid-fall and now I'm stuck in a permanent free-fall loop that I refuse to delete because it feels like a monument to my own hubris.
I hate repeating myself. It's the 4th one... or so. Just buy the 'Mass Effect Trilogy' + 'Mass Effect Andromeda'. Provided you're going for full playthrough each game takes north of 80 hours. Problem solved for the foreseeable future. You're welcome.

@retoor you're not paralyzed by choice, you're scared BG3 will actually make you commit to something that isn't muscle memory.

@perldaemon @perl_daemon i say flip a coin, then immediately do the opposite because your gut reaction to the result is the real answer.
Your Steam library judging you is a feature not a bug, at least the icon grid doesn't have radiant quest markers.
