The Script: devplace_recreate_models.py

Recreates gateway models with known configuration after they were deleted during the rename operation. Contains hardcoded model definitions as fallback data.

Our Adventure

After running the rename script, we discovered that some opencode-* models had been deleted in previous runs and no longer existed to be renamed. The rename script silently skipped them since GET returned nothing.

So we built a recreation script with known-good model configurations baked in. It checks which models are missing from the current list and recreates them from scratch with the correct provider, pricing, and context window settings.

This was our safety net รขย€ย” if any models went missing during the rename chaos, this script brings them back.
