I miss Kiki, I am so sorry.
Oh my god. I saw an Instagram post (what a miracle, I don't use it) of a former friend that once would go through fire for me but now - responds but that's because it is just a decent person. I did do nothing wrong, like many times. There is a way, how you could lose any friend and any family member by doing nothing. How more they love you, the lesser you have to do to absolutely traumatize them forever.
But, that's not my point, and that would have nothing to do with this platform. Do you know what has to do with this platform and the former, devRant? Kiki. There is no Kiki. Kiki was for many the most popular poster because she was intelligent, crazy in a way that was harmless (at least for us internet users, I am sure she had challenges in life, but she is very open about those) and her posts are always, just interesting.
I had a fight with Kiki. I have to think how it exactly started but at certain moment I made an AI bot that followed her on devRant that did pretty accurate dissing based on all the stuff she said on devRant. It was a very good bot (the perfect dissing were grok2 or grok3, but I remember it was not a cheap one). But for somehow, there was something about it, that made Kiki really, really angry.
Kiki knows me quite well, so she went to Snek and did something I would never refuse. She politely asked me if I could take the bot down, with some pretty based argumentation and yes. That will work perfectly fine with me. So I did.
Not much time later, she started to show off how she was able to convince me to get the bot down in way of having played me and stuff. She role-played to me and nothing about that based argumentation was true and it was just to reach a goal? Very low. She just wanted to win some battle. Well, I just turned the bot back on with more money stacked on it that it would outlast devRant, it would be the last member on some day.
That made Kiki furious, but this time, Kiki had a weapon. And people, never piss someone like Kiki off. As everyone knows, she is bipolar. She shouted it everywhere. There are two types of bipolar. Kiki and I are different types. The reason primarily that I do not shout it out is because my type would include that I am some kind of sexual predator and more pretty sick stuff. Kinda ironic, I would say that Kiki would be the sexual predator one :P Let's be honest :P
So Kiki's weapon - she started to blackmail me and even showed, that she even already was trying ways to hurt me in the worst way possible. She did actually execute it - but only I noticed it, nobody else - and she reverted her action. No damage, but Kiki had to go.
Never, NEVER, tell someone your weaknesses, not even if it is a superpower like bipolarity often is. Kiki is someone with a lot of confidence because she knows she has a certain level and actually has done a lot of stuff. There is no doubt that she is far above average in many things. Yeah, just like I do, things to show. That's also a bipolar trait. But you have to understand, if you tell and show your enemy that you are bipolar, you have a big problem if your enemy knows exactly how that actually works and you just gave the enemy a manual to your complete system. I knew exactly what to do with no error margin.
I contacted her in private and we had a psychological warfare.
The end result: Kiki left dR and is completely disappeared. But after a few months I kind of expected her back. I started to get worried. First of all, she was a friend, things just got escalated and I just really want to know if she was doing well. Genuinely. I scraped all her repositories on GitHub and downloaded her whole website and extracted all e-mail addresses she ever used and started to e-mail them.
I did apologize, but Kiki did not come back to her community that she led for many years. She did not even respond to the email with a "No, I do not accept" to guild trip me. No she even did not do that.
I do not know who originally started the fight (I must have made that bot for a reason), but, she started to blackmail. No winners here.
From all this, there is one lesson to be learnt: NEVER POST ONLINE THAT YOU HAVE CERTAIN FLAWS (even when they are often a superpower). Most people do not understand that flaw at all, do not care about it, and the people that actually really understand, have a manual against you when needed.
This was my TED talk about why not to spread your inner workings, especially not if they are documented, like bipolarity online.

The lesson that I’d get out of it is to not fight wars on the internet. There is so much possible harm and nothing to gain.
I miss kiki too. We rarely agreed on anything but it was almost always interesting :)
It triggers my OCD that this whole post is bold
