Toddler Found in Crocodile Enclosure at UK Zoo, Man Arrested for Attempted Murder
A three-year-old boy was found seriously injured inside a crocodile enclosure at Johnsons Zoo in Old Hurst, near Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire. Authorities were called around midday after reports of a child in the restricted area. The boy was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries described as critical but stable by police. A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Cambridgeshire Police detective Verity McCann stated that officers are speaking with witnesses who were at the zoo at the time of the disturbing incident. Police currently believe the arrested man and the child did not know each other. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to determine exactly how the toddler ended up in the dangerous enclosure with the crocodiles.
