IT job market asks too much
Sometimes I feel like Brooks in The Shawshank Redemption. I am used to a relaxed/old way of Development; Web Dev, some Backend, a bit of Jira, some git, Docker, some cloud. HTML, CSS, JS.. build fun stuff.. now that was fun. Simple things were fun.
And now.. everything has been expanded out of proportion. Basic skills are no longer enough.. you need a gazillion skills.. especially A.I. You need to be able to create and manage entire codebases from scratch, you need to be a Business Analyst, an Architect... The way of the Junior or Medior Developer seems sparse...
Like Brooks said: "The world has gotten itself into a big damn hurry"

agreed.
Very true. Also true for the QA Testers. The requirements can be insane.
