Very personal question

What keyboard / mouse do you use?

I care a lot about keyboards - bought the same x270 three times. For normal keyboards, I prefer the K120. I do like the sound of mechanical keyboards, but they're mostly too thick for my wrists.

As stated in another post, I have never had ergonomic issues - but with the mechanical keyboards, I would have, I think.

Currently I use two Ergodox layout keyboards, the IF-Ergo (home) and W-Ergo (work):

I LOVE the Ergodox layout, although it was rough at first. I started with a SliceMK and my typing speed on Ortholinear keys went to shit:

but I'm really glad I kept with it. I type so far now and love the split keyboard. Also I have this other list of every mechanical keyboard I've ever owned:

I see one thing on multiple pictures of the first link that I cannot live with ๐Ÿ˜› You barely have space to rest your wrists / lean arms. Space in front of keyboard is something that I really require. So a deep desk.

oh I have plenty of desk space. I just moved the keyboards to those short tables for the photos. My full desk space is .. um ... well let's just say I make sure the web camera is never pointed down in meetings ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜ฐ

@12blitfloat approves. What you post now is actually even worse :P You are sitting in a corner? If you work you sit with your side agains the desk? What chair do you use?

Nah, my side isn't against the desk. I sit diagonally, so both arms are on the mouse mats. (Imagine my other hand is on the keyboard and not holding the camera). It's pretty comfy, and I have a window to my yard.

Chair is just some cheap one from OfficeMax (US chain). My good chair is an Autonomous. It's on my non-work setup (but I did get it for free from my previous job).

I prefer second setup. Nice speakers. Interesting that your mouse is located between the keyboard(s). It makes sense in this case, just an observation.

By now, I should have a setup like that as well, but life took a different turn. But even before that, always lived from employer hardware. In the current house also no room for such setup - and this house is holy to me (chalet). I am stealth ๐Ÿ˜„

Corsair && Logitech combo. Logitech mouse replaced my Corsair mouse that started double-clicking, which became a liability.
