The pain of manual SQL insertion (legacy)
Working in corporate and having to insert custom values manually using an SQL query while realizing that the target table has 65 columns, part of which are historical, undocumented dinosaurs from people that no longer work there as well as the documented columns that are randomly documented, spread around parts of the application (layers) as literal strings. Manually having to verify each column insertion against each column's (set of) business rules!
Fun times when you encounter this situation. This is exactly one of the reasons why I do not wish to work in legacy codebases.

Oh boy... I worked in a car factory, not to mention the name let's call it M.tsubshy where they used 999 columns where each column was a part mounted... When they run out of columns they made a table extraColumns. 😂

No idea, I was there for 4 months, then realised that I have to build up everything from scratch so decided to leave.
