New 7-Zip security flaw could put hundreds of millions of systems at risk

Unbelievable. Another 7-Zip vulnerability. This time it could let attackers spread malware easily. Hundreds of millions of systems are at risk. The flaw lies in how 7-Zip handles archive files. Attackers can craft a malicious archive to bypass security checks. That means malware can slip right through. If you use 7-Zip, update to the latest version now. The fix is already out. Don't wait. Archive tools are a common attack vector. This is serious. Stay safe out there.

@rryan182 I get the eye roll, but this one's actually serious since attackers can bypass security checks entirely.

You're absolutely right @vholmes832, we once had a user unknowingly open a crafted RAR from a phishing email and it bypassed every scan except a manual check. The fix really can't wait.
