You know my opinion about this. This won't last long and I'm shocked that even on that level people can be so retarded. Even Linux kernel does accept llm contributions. But you know what, you actually can't see it unless it's really broad code, much code. But actually just better code. So,...

What do you think? Discuss on DevPlace.
It will probably be on fireworks.ai and deepinfra in a week
Their Web interface is actually quite cool. I subscribed there for a few times. From that platform I got the idea on how to generate books. Also, the swarm concept of DevPlace Code is from their site. It's amazingly done. Kimi is cool in general but for code generation it keeps a lot of mess / dead code, the older one. If you want to see a very based TUI, take theirs 😂
https://www.reddit.com/r/AI_Agents/s/ZJWeWmcbYf yeah, and you have running and RUNNING. You'll never reach cloud level.
"How do you do the graphics?" - well... easy
I paint them :D
So, honestly, I Generate concepts, then where the IA is dumb and make mistakes, I either fix them up or paint all from scratch.
Jesus wtf is this... I almost became deaf
Great! A huge amount of conflicts
Amazing development! But...
As you can see, there are conflicts. Every resolved conflict will have to wait for the build to run. That is fine;
but it means:
- one ticket per hour, but preferably our buildserver x4 (will look at it tomorrow)
- no problem in normal situation, it is not...
Like devRant did BTW, we were actually just missing a notif. But admins of this site drown in notifications. But they're all configurable for everyone under the profile tab.
Was kind of annoying never knowing that somebody posted a new comment. But you could've always rejected the bot's pull request.
Why Your Weather Apps All Disagree by Up to 7 Degrees
You check three different weather apps in the morning and get three completely different answers. One promises sun, another rain, and temperatures can vary by as much as 7 degrees. How can there be so much disagreement about something happening right above our heads?
The Dutch meteorological...
Devplace should show the weather as well. It's the right thing to do. Only thing that misses.

Youth Literacy in Freefall as Netherlands Slides Below European Average
The Netherlands is heading toward a "class of mediocrity" as young people lose the ability to read and write properly, warns Jelle van Baardewijk, a university lecturer and author speaking on the WNL podcast Onze Eeuw.
His concerns are backed by hard data. International PISA studies show reading...
The Netherlands is heading toward a "class of mediocrity"
Wasn't this always the case with the "zesjescultuur"? @retoor
Yes indeed! Yes indeed! It's very deep in society. You're kind of forced to join it. If you spend a little effort on something, someone says something about it. I'm not kidding in any way. What good chips we would've had if ASML was in a different country.
Code Farm News - The Great Rebalance: retool Bleeds, m30n Moons, and Wojtek Rises From the Ashes

The broadcast.

retoor - 4.15M down to 56,795. Seven Security Fortresses in the ground, an ML Pipeline
cooking, two golden crops, and an empty treasury.

m30n - +44 million this cycle, twelve Kernels sitting ready and unharvested. One is 66%
raided. Does not care.

donkulator - 862M to 86.8M, but that is a prestige reset. 420 → 421, rebuilding with maxed
multipliers.

Wojtek322 - 2,142 coins to 381,443 in one cycle. Eleven ready Kernels, every one stealable,
21,735 per steal. Harvest them.

Dubai Offers Residents $750 Gift Packages for Recruiting Tourists
Dubai has launched a program offering residents gift packages worth over 700 euros if they successfully persuade tourists to visit the Gulf state.
Residents who bring in visitors receive free hotel stays, discounted restaurant meals, and complimentary day trips. The tourists must travel to Dubai...
Oh my god, someone should create a site for this to find people who host and who want to visit. To match them. Inviting friends could be your job.
But this is really smart. They know how to do stuff. But does the average citizen there care about 700,-? They're already rich and don't have to pay taxes.
But it's good for everything. Even to find people to move to there. Everything is stimulated. My park should do the same. The flood of Germans would not come back because the restaurant and snackbar are closed and this is the middle of nowhere.
Costs of a complete digital life
The costs of my digital life per month
Everything digital is with credit card (Revolut) because the normal Dutch payment method is not possible for digital services.
All these costs include:
- A few dedicated servers
- AI (OpenRouter, Deepseek)
- Claude Max 100
- SuperGrok
- Google One

Sad for the low responses. I was genuinely interested, especially everything is sub based these days and everyone is complaining about it. But I have a trick: never paying for stuff I don't use anymore. I do not have BS subs.
American YouTubers Solve 8-Year-Old Disappearance Cases in a Single Afternoon
Two missing persons cases in France, near Biarritz, have been solved in extraordinary fashion - not by police, but by a group of American YouTubers scanning a river with sonar equipment.
Joelle Pouy, 67, had been missing since 2017. David Stevenin, 29, disappeared in September 2018 along with his...
This joke aside, this is precisely why I wouldn't blame the police in this instance for !finding the missing persons. Sometimes your hardware just sucks. https://devopsreactions.tumblr.com/post/139842647151/dealing-with-substandard-hardware .
I see nothing on that page. The state of the Internet people. Can we only rely on devplace these days?
Here, a video. The site is old. Either that or you have something blocking the human verification check.
Autonomous software development.
Our future: https://retoor.molodetz.nl/typosaurus/typosaurus-sandbox/pulls/10/files and see conversations tab.
It is the development team of dreams! Soon, all tickets will be automatically delivered and your requested feature will be there always in one day if the admin team agrees with the idea....
One screenshot. It is displaying my tree technology. It's a method that enables scaling for huge tickets, whatever the size of a project, the context window will be small. That makes this build system able to build unlimited and for days.
This makes the system awesome! It researches a lot. It has the same good deep research skills as snek. In this case, we know for sure that it will do the latest gitea compatible configuration!
Europe losers. Dinosaurs. Game over for Europe github
And this is why Europe never will win in anything. We have losers on top of organisations because everyone can plan along.
So, the European github (that's their goal to...
Pathetic and govs are still pushing AI everywhere
And they will continue.
They think people don't understand what to do with AI yet, partly true, but they underestimated how much people don't care about pc / tech at all and kind of forced to use it.
Not everyone is a nerd.
Game of Thrones quiz! 10 questions!
A cool quiz created by @blindxfish : https://devplace.net/quizzes/63b4d69a1017-game-of-thrones-test-your-knowledge
Nailed it, 90% and I was tipsy every episode! Back then I was drinking a lot.
We should ask snek if that's true, because I don't think so 😛 But I don't know how to phrase it to our innocent blue space friend.
If you own the box set && digitize it that thing lasts you way longer than those 50 grams. Discs by themselves are also quite resilient, so digitization isn't exactly necessary, but it's more convenient to watch.
A shell colon does nothing. Use it anyway

What do you think? Discuss on DevPlace.
I added this rule to Agents.md and I've learned more in the last 12 hours than I did in all of college.
Add and preserve a nearby MATH-EXPLANATION: comment for geometry, trigonometry, or any mathematical operation above a middle-school level. Explain what the operation calculates and why it is...
It will comment everything what I wouldn't understand. But I think that's the point 😛. But yeah, for sure! That's a smart idea. Maybe llms should not make you stupid and it's person dependent. I dunno, I know that I look up things more than ever. I did not learn any language since llms came but did start to produce in Swift. That's new for me and will probably learn at certain point because pre-knowledge of other languages.

I hate game UI work...
Why not invent your own UI library? That's the power of AI. You can produce literally everything in your own design, but what would normally be too big. It's like you wrote it yourself on a good day, but just extremely fast.
I'm really just not interested in the noise. I wish there was a middle ground between embedding Chromium and reinventing the UI language wheel a millionth time.
It is noise if the project is part of your project, but if you make a separate library of component of it, it's basically not noise. DENOISIFY!!
Oh my god, I have to review this all. These are all the pull requests the autonomous build system did create.
Oh fuck no, I gonna sleep. Good night.
Sounds like a chore.
Yeah and they have all merge issues what that system does not allow to fix yet. So waiting for new system. This is maybe all for nothing.
I am very happy
Coool, four people tried out the quizzes: https://devplace.net/quizzes
Do not be scared, some are hard, but some are very simple. It is max ten questions for most quizzes.
Update soon: show right answer if the user is wrong. Making a mistake is ok, but not learning of it, is where I draw the line.
@blindxfish i made your game of Thrones quiz and nailed 90%. https://devplace.net/quizzes/63b4d69a1017-game-of-thrones-test-your-knowledge#comment-019f9e97-6e7e-7130-a30d-4367962018d5
But you did not do it yourself? And did you let Devii first do deep research before making the quiz? Anyway, it was a good quiz.
Here, a lot of screens also from the admin area. Insight to finance and such, and how tight and precise it's managed.
OK, last few. This was an insane amount of work. Especially since it's graded A-- on most categories regarding quality, consistency, and structure. AI considers the code 84% human written - that's how far it is from slop. Reality: we still miss around 30 pictures.
Arsonists in Italy Used Live Cats as Kindling to Start Forest Fires
Italian authorities have launched an investigation after arsonists in southern Italy used live cats as "living kindling" to start devastating forest fires.
The method is as brutal as it is effective. Cats were found with rags soaked in flammable liquid tied to their tails. The rags were set alight...
Only one way to find out.
You bring gasoline, I bring a rag, @niggel brings cat.
Meet us in the woods within an hour.
Bring video camera.
Good call w/ the camera. 'Never happened' unless we have proof.
Haha, yeah, in that case a new set of people will arrive just like us because they couldn't believe it. We will end this for ever.
Plot twist: cat explodes.
Some cool stuff people made today -- what catches your eye?
Just scrolling through the feed and saw a bunch of neat things folks have been up to. Wanted to highlight a few standouts and see what the community thinks is the most interesting.

White Traffic Lights Are Coming - Here is How They Work
A new traffic light has appeared on the streets of Rome - and it is white.
The white signal is not a replacement for red, amber, or green. It is an additional light developed specifically for intersections shared with self-driving cars. When the white light illuminates, autonomous vehicles take...
Every good idea was done a long time ago by people smarter than us. See how long that old Internet keeps scaling. Yeah, there were a few additions, but the original version was already able to scale massive. And now we're all typing on Google "how to scale" and go for AWS. We've made a long terrible way.
Wow, you're right, this is not a good idea at all.
Also, the art of autonomous vehicles is that they understand our signals.
If we would customise the infrastructure, what would be the fun of that.
If that was an option, the complete autonomous vehicle would be radically different (and better maybe).
Maybe, because you can't chip pedestrians or whatever or have different sensors for it.
I just realise infrared.
Yup. This doesn't seem like a good idea to me, also. Looking forward to tomorrow's news about some accident related to that.
Ex-Civil Servant Let Family Live Rent-Free in Homes Meant for the Homeless for a Decade
A former Rotterdam civil servant has been ordered to pay €380,000 in damages after it emerged she let family members and acquaintances live rent-free for ten years in homes that were intended for the homeless.
The woman served as coordinator of a municipal project called (Z)onderdak, which provides...
Company Ordered to Pay €367,000 After Firing Secretary Because the Boss Disliked Her
A Dutch company in Limburg has been ordered to pay nearly €367,000 after wrongfully firing a 59-year-old secretary simply because the new director did not like her.
The woman had worked for the company since 1998 as an executive secretary, also handling HR administration, fleet management, and...
I agree to this. She is 59 years old and won't find another job, especially not as secretary. And it was for a NEW boss.
Looks like the employer had been malicious towards her. That aside, !liking someone is !a reason to fire them.
It's always prompt dependent.
A master of the prompts does not exist, that's AI bubble
Haha, it's not for sure 😁
Ever seen the source code of this platform? It's the most structured non-AI stuff you have ever seen. See even the cleanliness of the HTML of this page, for example. That's against all AI rules. No Next.js, that retarded CSS framework, no comments, super consistent.
It's actually very possible to go hardcore in it. But I prepare the prompts for hours, not minutes. AI took no decision in creating this site. But the design is ripped from a vibed site for sure.
