Yeah, but really, why not. Ai can do nice stuff. But just as with drawing style, there is something recognizable about it. Same as picture, you're 60% sure it's AI because... The v-model and emitting to update the value is also a very weird choice. So yeah - your initial read was pretty spot on. The combination of running a quasi-shelter for vulnerable people, the dependency dynamics, the foreign husband disappearing, and then this extreme act of control... it paints a picture of someone who systematically creates power imbalances. I am doubling down - the frameworks did have a function when AI was not available yet. It is easier for humans. Even while AI prefer to work with it, they dont need to at all and it is smoother to do it yourself. YAGNI. Thanks to AI we actually do not need frameworks anymore. Well, my contract also comes with a salary car but I can trade part of my end-of-year bonus to upgrade my next car. That thing I never understood why you want to do it, you don't even get the chance to buy it after the lease period ended.
But a salary car (+fuel/charging card) is pretty nice, you own a car that you can use for private use and not pay a single cent for it, not for fuel/charging, not for maintenance, not for tire change, ... Only non-work-related parking tickets and traffic violations are on your own dime.
But at this job, I'm not sure that having a car is a perk. The workplace is only 10km away and cycling infrastructure is very good for 75% (standalone cycling highway next to a busy road). I would have probably bought an e-bike if my work did not gave me a "free" car.
